Alcohol

The harm from alcohol contributes to a proportion of preventable ill health in Scotland, both short and long-term.  Alcohol use can impact on a person's physical and mental health as well as the impacts on society.

Prevention and early intervention is key to support individuals using alcohol, drugs and other substances, including those harmed by someone else’s alcohol and drug use.  People have the right to access any service that will enable them to live longer healthier lives.

Our online Outer Hebrides Alcohol and Drug Partnership Recovery Support Services Directory contains details of our local and national services.
