This Toolkit provides parents and carers of young people with information about alcohol and drugs.
Many drug are illegal and the effects can be harmful whilst also being a pleasant experience for some individuals. There is raft of effects that they can cause. Whilst some drugs are prescribed to treat conditions or diseases, taking prescribed drugs recreationally can be dangerous. The information below will provide you with knowledge and assist you as a parent or carer to have that discussion or know what to look for if you suspect someone is using drugs or alcohol.
